# What is IFOS2D? # What is IFOS2D?
**IFOS2D** (**I**nversion of **F**ull **O**bserved **S**eismograms) is a 2-D elastic full waveform inversion code. **IFOS2D** (**I**nversion of **F**ull **O**bserved **S**eismograms) is a 2-D elastic full waveform inversion code.
