Maximum number of cpus and memory that can be requested
The maximum amount of cpu and memory per slot can be seen by calling condor_status
.
To see it there is a slot with enough cpus you need to ask for this specifically via a constraint: condor_status -constraint "(Cpus > 100)"
Note that this is cpus in a single job. If you split up your jobs to use 1-4 CPUs per job, you can create as many jobs as you like. Dending on the number of machines currently in the cluster you might get as many as 500 CPUs in parallel if you submit enough single jobs. Just be sure that each job terminates when it is are done.
